    “This incredible resource is threatened,” Secretary of State John Kerry said in an April 21 Internet announcement of the Our Ocean conference. “It’s threatened by unsustainable fishing, by pollution, by climate change. Indeed, how we respond to these challenges is literally going to help determine the future of our planet.”

  • The U.S. Embassy in Brazzaville Celebrated Earth Day with English Clubs and Fulbright Alumni

    The U.S. Embassy in Brazzaville supported the joint initiative of Congo Brazzaville Fulbright Alumni Association (CBFAA) and the Brazzaville English Clubs Council (ECC) to organize a public venue cleanup in celebration of Earth Day on April 26, 2014. Nearly 100 hundred volunteers from the De Brazza High School, English clubs, Fulbright alumni and U.S. Embassy personnel committed to clean the outdoor space in front of De Brazza High School.
